Chambourcin – Dover Vineyards

Our wine tonight is the Chambourcin from Dover Vineyards in Concord, North Carolina. Vintage 2019. Estate grown Chambourcin. Winemaker Mark Frizolowski. Decanted 60 minutes. Deep garnet in color with a lighter rim. Nose of blackberry jam, cheerwine, black currant reduction, caffè mocha, almond butter, and dried lavender. Dry and fruity with mild tannins. Les Cailloux Bordeaux Rouge 2018

Our wine tonight is the Les Cailloux Bordeaux Rouge 2018. Dark ruby in color with a soft purple rim. Red wine from Bordeaux, France. Blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Some decanting recommended. Nose expressive of cherries, plum, vanilla, and smoke. Dry with medium plus body and medium plus tannins. OTTO – Marked Tree Vineyard

Our wine tonight is the OTTO white blend from Marked Tree Vineyard. OTTO = Old Two Tops Oak.
