Judges
We strive to seat a panel of judges with diverse certifications and industry experience. Our judges work and live in the Southeastern United States and have years of experience with Chambourcin and French-American Hybrids.
The competition is blind judged. We do not judge in flights to minimize the chance of competing bouquets on the table.
Our judges have years of wine competition experience and individually hold the following certifications.
1. Degree, Viticulture & Enology – Surry Community College
2. Master Court of Sommelier Level 2 & 3
3. WSET Level 2 & 3
4. American Wine Society Certified Judge
JenNis Beverage Marketing has organized wine competitions since 2016. Our past competitions include; The Palmetto Wine Competition, North Carolina Mead-Cider-Fruit Wine Competition, and The American Sangria Challenge!
