Vintage 2016

Roth Estate, Healdsburg, California.

Sonoma County Alexander Valley.

Proprietary Red.

Decant for 60 minutes.

Medium-Deep ruby in color.

Still appears youthful in the glass.

Medium-full body, medium tannins, medium-light acidity, and medium-high alcohol.

Solid intensity with youthful fruitiness showing beautiful cascading legs.

Pronounced layered flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, blackcurrant, boysenberry, chocolate, and mocha…

…with a long lingering luscious finish of black licorice, spice, and pipe tobacco.

This bottle is a great example of exactly why we enjoy wine!

An excellent red blend from Sonoma.

Has developed nicely in the bottle.

Expect to cellar well for many years to come.
