Sunny hillside vineyards of Valpolicella.
Decant for 60 minutes.
Deep garnet in color with a pale ruby rim.
Light aromas of red cherry, redcurrant, cranberry, licorice, and cocoa.
Dry with medium/high acidity, full body and medium alcohol showing great legs.
Medium flavor profile with notes of cherry cola, dried cranberry, red licorice, leather, tobacco, and caramel.
A lingering finish of mushroom and prunes.
This vintage needs vigorous decanting.
13.5% ABV.
Overall a very good example of Corvina.
