Chappellet is located in the Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill.

This Proprietor’s Blend used grape from both the Napa Valley and from Sonoma.

Vintage 2018.

Cabernet Sauvignon 44% Merlot 33% Malbec 10% Petit Verdot 8% Cabernet Franc 5%

Decanted 60 minutes.

Deep Ruby in color. Almost inky.

Pronounced aromas of blackberry, black cherry, boysenberry, sage, truffle, mocha, and pipe tobacco.

Off dry, medium acidity, medium-high tannins, and medium-high alcohol offer the structure and balance expected in a high quality Bordeaux Blend.

Pronounced flavors of black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, pomegranate, dark roasted coffee, violet, black truffle, vanilla, and oak.

Long finish with notes of cedar, pepper, and pipe tobacco.

This is a very good drinking Bordeaux style blend out of California.
