Tryon Foothills wine region of North Carolina.

Non-vintage newly released in February, 2021.

Decanted 30 minutes.

Medium ruby in color with a bright garnet rim.

Medium intense nose of red plum, cranberry, Bing cherry, red licorice, and freshly cut grass.

Medium bodied, and dry on the palate with medium tannins and medium acidity .

Medium flavor intensity with notes of plum preserves, cranberry sauce, cherry cola, and bell pepper, with smoke and charred wood on a medium-long finish.

13% ABV

A smooth drinking Merlot.
