2025 The Great White Wine Competition!
Best-in-Show awarded to 2023 Chardonnay from Rayson Winery and Vineyards!

The judging panel consisted of American Wine Society Certified Judges and high level WSET Certified Judges who brought years of competition judging and wine industry experience. Entries were received from West Coast to East Coast, from California to North Carolina.
Each entry was evaluated blind by a panel of eight judges in a single pour non-flighted round-table format. Each wine was poured in a clean crystal glass, presented to the judges individually and scored on a 100 point scale. We do not drop low scores therefore the final score is a true average of the eight judges.

What lasts year entrant stated!

Our judges are highly certified with years of experience! Our judges are either DipWSET and/or certified WSET educators, or American Wine Society certified judges. Our judges are industry professionals such as commercial vintners, and several are degreed in enology and viticulture.
Our judges have years of experience in judging wine competitions, many have previously judged many national and international competitions!

We use a structured 100 point judging scale which draws on our judges extensive knowledge. We do not judge in flights. Each wine is presented to our judges individually in a clean glass. Wines are judged on their individual merit, not against other entrants.
Our winery participants are appreciative of our detailed feedback.
