Paul Hobbs, set up to produce world-class riesling. He planted twenty-five acres under vine on the slopes of Seneca Lake – all riesling!
In the Finger Lakes, many outstanding rieslings are produced.
Paul Hobbs is producing some of the best in the Finger Lakes.
Paul Hobbs also has wineries in Sonoma, Argentina, and France.
Hobbs Finger Lakes vineyard has currently only produced three vintages! So…the best is still to come!
The youthful Finger Lakes vineyard though certainly is already producing amazing fruit!

The nose is very expressive, layered, complex. Notes of peaches, pears, apricot, blood oranges, nutmeg, and vanilla.
On the palate a complex profile of minerality, petrol, peaches, apricot, pear, and lemon-lime.
The mouthful is rich, yet light.
The finish pleasantly lingers on and on.
